Kottee Cycles
One Cycle For ONE’s Entire Lifecycle
Getting Started
At Kottee Cycles, we are on a mission to redefine mobility for every Indian household. Families often invest in multiple products — a stroller for babies, a cycle for kids, a commuter bike for adults, a wheelchair for elders, and even a cart for luggage. Each of these serves only one purpose, consumes space, and adds extra maintenance costs.
In urban areas, storage is always a challenge. In rural areas, affordability becomes the bigger concern. We believe mobility shouldn’t be fragmented, complicated, or expensive — it should be smart, compact, and accessible for all.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
1. Why would anyone want to use the same cycle lifelong? People — especially kids — want variety, upgrades, and trends.
Kottee isn’t about one fixed cycle — it’s about a smart, flexible cycle that grows with you.
A kids’ mode can later be adjusted into a school or regular cycle, or even shared with a parent or sibling. Instead of being discarded, the same cycle stays useful. Plus, Kottee is customizable — change colors, add accessories, or upgrade parts without buying new. One cycle, endless possibilities.
2. If I don’t need multiple purposes, why should I buy Kottee? I can get a normal cycle cheaper?
Kottee gives you options. Choose the affordable Just-Ride for regular use, or keep it future-ready with modular upgrade kits. If your needs change — from cargo to e-cycle — simply add parts instead of buying new. Kottee saves money, space, and waste while growing with you.
“Kottee isn’t about lifetime ownership — it’s about lifetime usability.”
3. What’s your current product pricing? Do you have a fixed cost per unit?
“That’s a great question. Right now, Kottee Cycles is in the R&D and prototype refinement stage. We’ve designed the base model, but pricing isn’t finalized yet — and that’s exactly why we’re applying for SISFS funding.
The ₹50 lakh we’re requesting will be used to:
• Test different material variants — like Stainless Steel (SS), Magnesium Alloy, Aluminium Alloy, and even Carbon Fiber
• Ensure ISI standard compliance and industrial grade validation
• Do real-world testing to study durability, weight distribution, and rider comfort
Only after this phase can we arrive at an accurate unit cost per material, which will help us decide which versions to scale up — whether for budget-conscious B2C markets or premium e-cycle tourists.”
Optional Follow-Up (if they insist on a ballpark number):
“That said, our estimated range based on current material and part availability is:
• ₹7,000 to ₹9,000 for the basic SS version
• ₹12,000 to ₹15,000 for Mg/Al Alloy versions
• ₹25,000+ for electric and carbon-enhanced versions
Final pricing will depend on the outcome of prototype trials and the material we finalize after R&D.”
4. Why should I buy Kottee if I only want a single-purpose product?
You can! We offer single-purpose base models too, like the Just-Ride variant. But if your needs evolve later, you can simply upgrade by adding conversion kits. So instead of buying a whole new product, you expand the same Kottee, saving money and space.
5. Are there folding cycles for adults with 14-inch wheels in India?
Yes, there are compact foldables like the Hornback M1s and QUESEC available online, priced around ₹11,000 to ₹14,000. However, they serve only one purpose. Kottee, with its 8-mode transformability and upgradeability, offers much more value long term — especially for families, rural users, and tourism.
6. What’s the current unit price of Kottee Cycle?
Kottee is still in R&D phase. The ₹50 lakh SISFS funding we’re seeking is primarily to:
• Test different material variants — SS, Mg Alloy, Al Alloy, and Carbon Fiber
• Finalize ISI-compliant industrial-grade designs
Once we understand how each material behaves structurally, we’ll finalize pricing.
Estimated price ranges:
• ₹7,000–₹9,000 for SS base model
• ₹12,000–₹15,000 for Mg/Al versions
• ₹25,000+ for electric or carbon-enhanced models
Exact unit cost will be known post prototype testing and supplier benchmarking.
